      Fred Cline learned a love for farming from his grandfather in Contra Costa county. Original grapevines were planted there over I00 years ago. Fred restored these deep-rooted, dry-farmed, head-pruned vines that now form the backbone of our Ancient Vines collection. Our Ancient Vines Zinfandel derives rich character from some of our very oldest vines. Flavors are intense with strawberry notes and bright fruit that lead to a round and velvety finish. Green String Certified. 100+-year-old vines. Pest control.
